Questions? Let's Talk It Through

Whether you've already got a destination picked or you're starting from a blank slate, here's what people usually want to know before reaching out.

FAQs

Not at all. Some clients come in with a destination locked in; others just know they need a real vacation. I'll get to know your travel style, priorities, and budget, then narrow down destinations and hotels that actually fit instead of handing you a list and calling it a day.

Do I have to know exactly where I want to go?

You can absolutely book a hotel yourself. The question is whether you want to spend your nights and weekends comparing forty options to do it. I've already done the research. I'll tell you what's actually worth booking, handle the logistics, and I'm a real person to reach out to if something changes, not a call center.

Why use a travel advisor instead of booking it myself?

For pulling information, sure. What I add is judgment: knowing which hotel actually fits how you travel, catching the details that don't show up in search results, and being accountable if something goes sideways. Think of it less as replacing your research and more as skipping the spiral.

Can't I just use Google or AI to research this myself?

No — you keep every decision. I bring you a real recommendation instead of forty tabs, but nothing gets booked without your go-ahead. You stay in the loop; you just don't have to do the digging.

Will I lose control over my trip?

Yes. If you've mapped out your own itinerary and just want help choosing (and booking) the right hotel, that's exactly what The Perfect Stay is for. And it can often come with added perks through preferred partnerships.

Can you just book a hotel if I've already planned the rest?

Mostly couples and small groups headed to the Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe — with the most experience in the Mexican Caribbean, Cabo, Italy, England, Scotland, and Ireland. Honeymoons, anniversaries, and milestone trips are common, but plenty of clients are just overdue for a well-planned vacation.

What kind of trips do you plan?

Sooner is easier. I'd recommend 6–12 months out for peak season, big celebrations, or destinations with limited availability. That said, if your timeline is tighter, reach out anyway. I'll tell you honestly what's realistic.

When should I start planning?
